"Ms. Vivien is a dedicated, highly motivated piano teacher."I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Vivien Dall Igna for 15 years now, as a psychological consultant. She is a dedicated, highly motivated piano teacher. I have observed her students learn, in both their love of music performance, and in their love of their teacher, Ms. Vivien, over these many years. This is, in part, because she shows concern for the delivery, of her teaching methods, to each, individual student. She often describes, to me, the struggles and special needs, she encounters, in order to seek out suggestions of professional feedback on how to address these, as their teacher, in a way that will be effective, encouraging, and perhaps even fun! Many instructors, past and present, take a positive approach. My experience in observing Ms. Vivien in interacting with her students, has been warm, motivating, positively encouraging! And, when they grow up, and move on, there are notes of gratitude that have piled up, and are saved by Ms. Vivien as though they are treasures of gold and silver. Ms. Vivien is so much more than a professional piano instructor. She is a mentor, to both children and parents, a humble soul, who loves sharing a powerful, joyful gift. And as such a professional, I offer my highest praise, recommendation and congratulations, on her already marvelous success! My son began the piano at 6 years old with Vivien and is now 8 years old. Vivien displays a unique blend of expertise, firmness and playfulness. This works very well with children as they learn and make progress musically (piano in my son's case), but still enjoy their lesson time. Vivien also is extremely flexible and does offer lessons in student's home. This is most appreciated as a busy parent. She schedules recitals well enough in advance to try to accommodate all her students. Both my son and I look forward to piano lessons with Vivien weekly and highly recommend her as a piano teacher and regard her in the highest!
